President of Turkmenistan conducted a video conference with the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, cabinet ministers, heads of ministries and departments, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat. The meeting agenda focused on the priority issues regarding implementation of the large-scale national programmes in the country, the existing situation in the agricultural sector and the progress of construction of various facilities as well as other issues of the state policy life.
During the meeting the Chairperson of the National Parliament informed the Turkmen leader on the outcomes of the seventeenth session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fourth convocation. It was noted that new laws and statutory and legal acts drafted in line with the priorities of the state policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and a number of organizational issues were considered during the session.
Vice Premiers reported on the work of the structure under their supervision and fulfillment of the Turkmen leader’s instructions. In particular it was reported on payment of salaries, pensions and benefits, on drafting the project on construction of a new building of A. Kekilov Pedagogical College designed for 1000 places in Ashgabat and new water-storage basins in Bereket and Serdar Etraps in Balkan Velayats. A project on construction of a modern storehouse of the Main Pharmaceutical Association of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan was submitted to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
The President of Turkmenistan was informed on the progress in implementing the seasonal agricultural campaigns and settlement of accounts with peasants for this year’s cotton harvest.
The Chairman of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan T. Djaparov reported on the measures taken with the aim of further improvement of work of the banking system as well as the work on studying the issue on granting of credit to finance a project on construction of a sturgeon breeding enterprise with processing and caviar production.
Head of the Turkmenhowayollary State National Service M. Ayazov reported on the existing situation in the structures under his supervision and informed the Turkmen leader on the outcomes of participation in the 33d session of the Council of Aviation and Use of Airspace of the CIS Member states in Moscow (the Russian Federation) on December 13-14.
The Head of the Turkmenhowayollary State National Service informed the Turkmen leader that the necessary measures were taken to transfer a building to the Main Ticket Department of the Turkmenhowayollary Air Travel Agency.

Velayat Kyakims reported on the existing situation at the construction sites, the preparation of the programme of New Year’s festivities, on the measures taken to improve the social and living conditions for local population and modernize social, cultural and production facilities as well as the preparations for winter season. The projects of cottages to be built in etraps in Ahal Velayat within the framework of the national reformatory programme were submitted to the Turkmen leader for consideration.
During the meeting President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution relieving A. Cherkezov of the position of Vice Chairman of the Turkmenpagta State Concern and the Decrees on dismissing M. Dovletsahedov of the post of the Khyakim of the city of Serdar in Balkan Velayat and H. Ishanguliev of the post of Khyakim of Karabekaul Etrap in Lebap Velayat for serious shortcomings and the failure to perform their duties properly.
Summing up the video conference, the Turkmen leader underlined the further social and economic development of the country and creation of happy life for the people of Turkmenistan served as a key aspect of the strategy of the state development of Turkmenistan.
