President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a video-teleconference with participation of the Chairwoman of Turkmenistan’s Parliament, several members of the government, officials of certain ministries and departments.
As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) informs, the agenda of a regular meeting included the issues connected with further realization of socio-economic strategy of the state and priority national programs.
In particular, it was informed about the construction project of new building of the Naval Institute and preparation for holding on January 27 of the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, construction of new buildings of the State Frontier Service and its dependent institute.
It was also reported about measures, being taken on transfer of the three-story building of shopping center “Marjen” along Ataturk street of Ashgabat to the disposal of the Centre of air services “Turkmenhowayollary” for sale of air tickets. All necessary conditions will be created there for high-quality service of passengers, including 30 ticket offices: 17 - on domestic flights, 13 - on international routes. Center fitted with up-to-date equipment will be put into operation on March 1, 2013.
It was presented a report on range of services of electronic, mail and mobile communications, being rendered for population, organizations and enterprises by subdivisions of the Ministry of Communications. Due to installation of equipment of the third generation 3G cellular, the subscribers have an opportunity of access to high-speed broadband Internet, services of voice as well as visual communication.
It was given the information about new legislative acts worked out on the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan. These legislative acts concern the agricultural corporations and, in general, state policy on management and further improvement of the activity of agro-industrial complex, harmonious development of villages and successive increase of the social standards of rural population.
The head of state also listened to the report on preparation for the participation of delegation of Turkmenistan in I International Water Summit and VI World Summit “Energy of Future”, which will be held on January 15-17 in the capital of the United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi within the framework of “Week of stability”.
Having noted that the strengthening of material-technical basis of the Armed Forces of the country along with the concern about professional training of military personnel are the key aspects of large-scale reforms in the military sphere, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that modern technology and advanced equipment should be used in construction and equipping of the building of Naval Institute. It should have all conditions for training and mastering the professional skills.
Speaking about preparations for the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland, the head of state demanded to take all necessary measures for holding of this holiday at the highest organizational level.
Having underlined huge responsibility of the employees of justice system, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed dissatisfaction with the work of the leadership of the Ministry of Justice. In this regard, for serious shortcomings in the work, the national leader relieved the Deputy Minister of Justice of Turkmenistan B. Ballyev of his position. The head of state charged the Minister to conduct qualifying evaluation among all employees of the Ministry of Justice and pay intent attention to such vital issues as selection and placement of personnel, increase of their professional level.
Having noted that in the last years, the national civil aviation, reaching the position of one of the leading sectors of the country’s economy, develops rapidly, the President of Turkmenistan said that implementation of “National Program of Development of Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan for 2012-2030” will contribute to further modernization of the sector. Along with the strengthening of international relations, it will be systematically replenished the fleet of civil aviation with new modern machinery, increased the level of service and safety of air traffic, improved the provision of population with high-quality transport and communication services.
In this context, the nation leader underlined that new building of the Centre of air services “Turkmenhowayollary” for sale of air tickets should be equipped with the latest electronic equipment and innovative technologies.
