Thanking for the opportunity of discussing the urgent issues of cooperation during a personal meeting, the guest underlined the deep interest of his company in establishing long-term, efficient partnership with Turkmenistan, where large-scale reformatory programmes are successfully implemented under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Speaking about the aspiration of the world business circles, in particular, European businessmen for widening their cooperation at the prospective Turkmen market, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Dresser-Rand French Company emphasized on the huge economic potential of the country, the open-door policy pursued by the Turkmen leader as well as mutually beneficial cooperation.
Underlining that Turkmenistan is always ready for constructive collaboration with foreign partners, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that speeding up the industrial development stipulated the increased demand of the national economy in high production technologies and advanced equipment. In this context, the Turkmen leader spotlighted that Turkmenistan paid particular attention to establishing efficient relations with the representatives of leading business circles all over the world, including the French Republic – the country with developed market economy possessing innovative technologies and supplying products to many science intensive industries.
During the meeting the President of Turkmenistan and his guest exchanged their views on the prospects of the long-term cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, in particular in the sphere of supplying the advanced compressor equipment and providing after-sales service to oil-and-gas production and gas-processing infrastructure as well as training specialists. Among the investment projects under discussion during the meeting is opening a service and training centre of the Dresser-Rand Company in Turkmenistan.
