Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to Ashgabat and visited the southern part of the city in order to familiarize itself with the progress in the field of construction work being done in the development of road transport infrastructure in the capital. It should be noted that this issue was put on the agenda of the video selector workshop, which the President held this morning.
The head of state has paid particular attention to the state of affairs in Ashgabat erected around the ring motorway. In particular, the national leader asked the pace and quality of construction of new highways, bridges, flyovers and road junctions, including those areas of the city, which now is the most intense development.
In this regard the Turkmen leader noted the importance of this issue as the optimum combination of functionality tracks and facilities for the aesthetic component of the urban space and expressed to the Deputy Prime Minister Sh.Durdylyev and Chairman of the State concern "Turkmenavtoyollary" P.Meredov discontent carried out in this direction. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined that it is an integrated and thoughtful approach that would take into account everything from the quality of road construction and repair work to passenger stops, curbs, road signs, lighting and landscaping. Erected road junctions which are complex engineering and technical objects must fit into a picturesque view of the city as part of the monumental art, increasing the beauty and originality of the architectural and urban image of the white-marble capital. During the visit the head of state made a stop at the intersection Archabil avenue and street Andalib and roundabout cars. Emphasizing that all buildings erected shall conform to generally accept technical norms and standards, the President stressed the need for carrying out landscaping to put into practice the elements of urban landscape design and gave a number of specific guidance, including the breakdown bosquets and flower beds in the roundabout.
The President required the appropriate leaders in a serious way to approach the construction of road infrastructure and wished all success in your work and went to the location of the border in the foothills of Kopetdag. Here the head of state personally inspected helicopters intended for the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of National Security. The President boarded one of those standing on a platform of helicopters and did proceed to the cockpit where carefully read the technical equipment of the helicopter, in particular, the work of his precision instruments.
The Turkmen leader stressed the role of a systems approach to building performance of military and law enforcement and demanded that the present leaders to pay close attention to issues such as the strengthening of educational work among the personnel, staff development, and their responsibility for the situation in the area entrusted operation.
