At request of vice-chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yegeleyev and Sh. Durdyliyev, the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip over capital, having familiarized with the work process realized in the context of realization of scale town planning program as well as with a series of new construction projects.
As the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH) informs, the head of state proceeded to the southern part of the capital, where intensive construction works expanded in the last years. The projects of a series of important facilities, beautification and reconstruction of highways of the capital as well as projects belonging to transport and communication complex, including construction of new highway and railway bridges, were submitted for consideration of the nation leader.
Having familiarized with outward appearance and layout of future new buildings, the President of Turkmenistan made in these projects several significant amendments, having underlined that they have to correspond fully with all modern requirements.
Having interested in detail in technical and operational characteristics of future bridges, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined that all similar engineering structures, being erected in Turkmenistan, should fully correspond with the high international standards according to their parameters. The head of state noted that therefore, during their designing and construction, it is necessary to take into account everything, including active employment in practice of modern technologies and leading experience, local natural and climatic conditions, considered selection of building materials and etc, as well as aesthetic aspect. As a whole, having approved the projects and given a series of recommendations, the nation leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave relevant instructions.
In the course of familiarization with location of facilities planned to be constructed, the President of Turkmenistan underlined the necessity of most reliable and careful approach to the issues of development of the capital. In addition, the head of state pointed out a series of tasks connected with construction of facilities, accomplishment of adjoining territories as well as landscape gardening of the southern part of Ashgabat. At that, the nation leader noted that the immutable requirement is the securing of high quality standards of new buildings, being erected in this intensively developing part of the city, which should harmoniously blend with architectural look of white-marbled Turkmen capital. Having underlined the importance of opportune commissioning of facilities, the President of Turkmenistan charged the relevant officials with instructions in this regard.
Summing up the working trip, the head of state noted again that all modern facilities, being constructed in Ashgabat and other parts of the country, have to differ by irreproachable quality as far as all of them are urged to serve not only for present but also for future generations of the Turkmen residents.
