President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a video conference with the velayat khyakims.
The meeting agenda focused on the existing situation in the agricultural sphere of Turkmenistan, the measures taken by the administration of the regions on further improvement of the social and living standards of the local population, on the construction and development of the social and industrial infrastructure as well as the priority tasks regarding the implementation of the rural development programme in regions.
The Turkmen leader paid particular attention to the seasonal agricultural activities, in particular the preparations for the spring field works, the cotton sowing campaign and planting campaign. The Velayat Khyakims reported on the existing situation at the agricultural fields in the regions, in particular the measures taken to care for winter crops in agricultural fields, improve land condition, prepare seeds and agricultural equipment for the forthcoming sowing campaign, to ensure proper housing conditions for livestock during the winter months.
Commenting on the reports, the Turkmen leader said due to the purposeful support provided by the Turkmen government to agricultural workers with the aim to ensure development of the agro-industrial complex, the forthcoming cotton sowing campaign should be organized at the high level. In this regard, the President gave specific instructions to relevant officials.
Noting that creation of necessary organizational conditions and system approach is the main requirement for implementation of the rural development programmes, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov demanded the velayat khyakims to pay particular attention to increasing the living standards, improving the social, living and cultural environment, the industrial infrastructure along with the proper fulfillment of seasonal agricultural activities in compliance with the schedule.
In this regard, speaking about construction of various facilities, including industrial enterprises, apartment houses or highways and bridges, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov spotlighted all of them should meet the high standards of quality.
The Turkmen leader underlined our country had all necessary conditions, including huge natural and raw material resources, inexhaustible spiritual potential as well as social and political stability for successful solution of these tasks.
