Atmosphere of high emotional enthusiasm reigned today in Mukams Palace of the National Cultural Center. Here, it was held a concert prepared by the masters of culture and arts of the country for the State Flag Day. Officials of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, members of the government, representatives of social organizations, diplomatic missions accredited to our country, various ministries and departments, higher educational establishments and scientific institutions, mass media as well as student youth, foreign guests took part in it.

The concert program presented bright creative compositions. The best folk groups from all five provinces of the country gladdened the viewers with their bright masterly performance. Brilliant performances of famous dance groups produced particular impressions on everyone. The audience cordially applauded to young singers, who worthily continue and develop the traditions of the national art.


In the evening, solemnities in honor of the State Flag Day of Turkmenistan were proceeded with large festive concert held in the southern part of the Turkmen capital at the giant flagstaff, where the Flag of sovereign Turkmenistan is flying. Grandiose colorful fireworks completed the solemnities.
