President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting with President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Federation Rustam Minnihanov, who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in Nowruz celebrations.

The Head of the Republic of Tatarstan congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and all people of Turkmenistan on the Nowruz International Holiday and expressed warm wishes conveyed by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

In the course of the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan and head of the Republic of Tatarstan focused on the partnership in the trade and economic sphere, fuel and energy, industrial sectors, agriculture, sport, tourism and humanitarian area. The Turkmen leader and his guest called for enhancing the traditional cultural relations.
