On behalf of the Government of Turkmenistan and himself, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his heartfelt condolences to interim President of Bangladesh Abdul Hamid over the death of President of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Mohammed Zillur Rahman.

“I pray to God for granting you and the friendly people of the People's Republic of Bangladesh peace of mind and courage to suffer this loss”, said President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his message.

The leader of the Turkmen state expressed the words of empathy and encouragement to the deceased’s family, as well as to the people of Bangladesh.
