Within the framework of a working trip to Dashoguz Velayat, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov considered the progress of construction work in the regions and the projects of new social, cultural and industrial facilities.
The Turkmen leader considered the progress of construction of a hotel designed for 350 places and the Centre of Culture designed for 500 places.
The projects presented to the President for consideration included secondary and sports schools designed for 500 and 365 pupils respectively as well as a new kindergarten designed for 160 children. The President considered the draft designs of two four-storey apartment houses with improved conditions.
The Turkmen leader considered the projects and draft designs of a number of facilities of the transport sphere, including civil aviation to be built on the territory of the International air terminal in Dashoguz. Among them are construction of a 3,800-metre airstrip, new buildings of the control center meteorological service, a tower with the air traffic control center, parking places and platforms for aircrafts. All new facilities will be supplied with life support systems as well as engineering services and transport communications.
The draft designs of the plots of land and plans for development of a modern urban settlement with relevant infrastructure to be built on the territory of Akgala Gengeshlik were presented to the President for consideration. An administrative building of the gengeshlik, a school designed for 420 children, a kindergarten designed for 160 children, a Health Centre, a Centre of Culture, Trading Centre, bakery, plants for soft drinks production, 400 apartment houses, telegraph office, etc. will be constructed there soon.
Moreover, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov considered industrial projects, including the project of a drinking water-purification plant with the capacity of 40,000 cubic metres in Boldumsaz Etrap, new production association based on a ginnery in Akdepe Etrap, cotton seeds processing enterprise with the annual capacity of 40,000 tons in Kunyaurgench Etrap as well as Dashoguz sanatorium in Gurbansoltan Eje Etrap.
Noting that any investment, construction project should be considered in the context of the social and economic environment of the region and be implemented based on the efficient use of resources, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the relevant officials to study the potential of the whole spectrum of investment mechanisms, technologies and instruments to bring the region into qualitatively new level of development.
