Week of Indian Cinematography in Mary

The cultural event is organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the Embassy of the Republic of India in Turkmenistan and the Centre of Indian Culture under the Embassy.

The workers of culture and art, journalists, local citizens and students participated in the ceremony.

Addressing those present, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Turkmenistan Sunil Jain noted that the cultural event in Mary would contribute to enhancing and developing traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of India, including in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

Among the films demonstrated within the framework of the Week of Indian Cinematography are comedies – “Tarzan: Super-car”, “In absentia”, “Singh is King”, “Casino “China Town, 36”, drama – “Life is a game of chance”, melodramas – “Love work miracles”, “My sister is bride” and lyric story – “A legend about love”.

The Week of Indian Cinematography will last till April, 6.
