On the instructions of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan A. Nurberdieva received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to Turkmenistan, Mr. Ole Johan Berna.

Exchanging the views on the prospects for developing the Turkmen- Norwegian cooperation, collaboration in the sphere of education, in particular training of specialists, as well as in the spheres of tourism and culture were specified among the priority areas.


Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to Turkmenistan, Mr. Ole Johan Berna was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The issues of further development of the interstate relations were discussed during the meeting.
