President of Turkmenistan receives Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Enver Bariev, who was completing his diplomatic mission to our country.

Cordially greeting the leader of Turkmenistan, the diplomat expressed sincere gratitude to the Turkmen leader for paying particular attention to Turkmen-Belarusian relations that had been filled with a new content and quality in recent years. It was emphasized that the Republic of Belarus attached particular importance to strengthening and enhancing the constructive dialogue with Turkmenistan based on the long-lasting traditions of friendship and mutually beneficial partnership. Greeting the diplomat, the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused with satisfaction on the dynamic development of Turkmen-Belarusian cooperation, emphasizing that it was fruitful and multifaceted. In this context, the President evaluated the Ambassador’s contribution to promoting bilateral relations in the interests and for the benefit of the two friendly states and nations.

The Turkmen leader and the Belarusian diplomat exchanged views on priority aspects of interstate cooperation, the profound potential of which opened up ample opportunities to enhance fruitful contacts in the whole spectrum, including the trade and economic, humanitarian and cultural spheres. It was noted that Turkmenistan and Belarus had the rich experience of successful cooperation as illustrated by a number of joint projects.

In conclusion Mr. Enver Bariev expressed profound gratitude to the Turkmen leader for providing friendly support to the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus, emphasizing that he considered it a great honour to represent his country in Turkmenistan known worldwide for the constructive progressive policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The Ambassador said he was leaving Turkmenistan with the best impressions about our country and its hospitable and diligent people. The diplomat noted that the ambitious reforms taking place in Turkmenistan in all the spheres of life provided a strong platform for the progress and prosperity of the country and its new impressive accomplishments.

In conclusion the President of Turkmenistan and the Belarusian diplomat expressed belief that cooperation between the two countries based on mutual goodwill would develop dynamically and successfully for the benefit of the two friendly nations.
