A number of draft legislative acts were considered during the nineteenth session of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the fourth convocation.
Among them are the Laws “On education”, “On ensuring the preservation of documentary heritage of the President of Turkmenistan, the Chairman of the Cabinet of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan”, “On archives and archive activity”, “On the approval and enforcement of the Election Code of Turkmenistan”.
The draft Laws “On long-distance pipeline transport”, “On the national security of Turkmenistan”, “On the State border of the Turkmenistan”, “On Border troops of Turkmenistan”, “On introduction of the additions to the Tax Code of Turkmenistan, “On introduction of the amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan “On protection and promotion of breast feeding and requirements to child nutrition”, “On introduction of the amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan “On licensing particular activities”, “On introduction of the amendments and additions to the Law of Turkmenistan “On migration” and recognition of legislative acts of Turkmenistan that became invalid”, “On introduction of amendments to the Law of Turkmenistan “On using and protecting the symbols of the red crescent and red cross” were also considered during the meeting.
The drafts resolutions of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan “On ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Cabinet Ministers of Ukraine on implementation of the Programme of the Turkmen-Ukrainian military and technical cooperation for 2013-2014 were considered and approved by the deputies.
The national parliamentarians approved and adopted the new laws.
