President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a working meeting with Vice Premiers and the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. The priority issues of the state policy life and the programme of festive events on occasion of remarkable dates and other important issues were considered.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov raised the issues of further improvement of the foreign-policy work of the country, the work of the National Parliament and other branches of the national economy.

Moreover, the Turkmen leader noted that festive events on occasion of putting the Turkmen-Kazakh section of the North-South transnational railway should symbolize the historical, cultural and spiritual community of the two fraternal and friendly states. In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan gave specific instructions to the relevant officials and ordered to begin preparatory work for the ceremony of opening of this important object.

Other tasks set to the sectoral departments of the national economy were considered during the meeting.
