President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The meeting agenda focused the work done by the military and law enforcement agencies for five months of the current year and specific steps to be taken to fulfill the assigned tasks.

The Turkmen leader demanded that the high-ranking officials pay particular attention to patriotic education and professional training of the personnel, improve professional skills of military servants and law enforcement officials and enhance their responsibility for the areas of work entrusted to them and create decent social conditions for military servants and law enforcement officials.

Other issues were considered and the decisions were adopted during the meeting of the National Security Council.
