Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius, who had arrived in Turkmenistan, visited a largest industrial, transport and resort centers of the country – the city of Turkmenbashi.

The distinguished guest got acquainted with the infrastructure, the progress of modernization and the prospects of development of ‘the sea gates’ in Central Asia – the International sea port in the city of Turkmenbashi.

Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius visited the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries that produces a wide spectrum of oil products including high-octane clear gasoline, aviation kerosene, hydrofined diesel fuel, oil coke, polypropelene, and lubricating oils.

In the afternoon, a presentation about the Avaza National tourist zone on the Caspian coast took place at the Nebitchi Hotel.

The guests from Lithuania learned more about investment policy of Turkmenistan and the national legislation providing substantial tax, customs, visa and other benefits for investors, firms and companies working in Avaza.
