A new Centre of Culture opened in the administrative centre in Baharly Etrap in Ahal Velayat. The representatives of velayat and etrap khyakimliks, public organisations, the elders, students and local residents attended the opening ceremony. Local artistic groups prepared a concert for the guests.

There are specialized rooms for groups of interest, computer classes, a library, rooms for practicing choreography and choir, drawing and theater art, playing national musical instruments as well as audio recording studio and a spacious assembly hall designed for 500 seats.

The new centre hosts a lecture hall, playing room, a cafe and canteen. There is also a museum telling about the history of development of Baharly, its historical and cultural sights in the Cultural Centre.
