A conference on the first Week of Culture that had taken place in the Avaza national tourism zone was held at the Mukam Palace of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan. Conference participants also discussed methodological issues relating to the preparations for the next large-scale cultural action.
The conference was attended by the cabinet ministers, the heads of ministries and departments of culture and creative professionals – writers, artists, actors, composers, experts in folklore – and teachers of art schools, specialists of cultural and educational institutions and amateur artists from all the regions of the country. Public figures, culture experts and political scientists were among the guests.
Summing up the work done during the Week of Culture “Avaza-2013”, conference participants were engaged in a lively and fruitful discussion about the useful experience in organizing such a large-scale cultural action. In this context, the tasks to be fulfilled in the near future, which would ensure the successful organisation of the 2014 Week of Culture in Dashoguz Velayat, were identified.
