President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to consider a number of state policy issues and drafts of important documents.
Opening the meeting, the Turkmen leader cordially congratulated the people of Turkmenistan on the coming holy month of Oraza.
Vice Premiers reported on the existing situation in the spheres under their supervision. As was reported, cotton fibre is supplied to the enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry.
It was also reported on the outcomes of participation of the Turkmen delegation in the Annual Session Meeting of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) opened in Geneva, Swiss Confederation on July 1 as well as drafting the National post-2015 report of Turkmenistan on the issues of the international agenda.
It was reported on the measures taken to improve the work of the financial and banking system, taxation and statistical agencies, on the progress of seasonal agricultural activities.
The Vice Premiers reported on the outcomes of the Week of Culture held in the Avaza national tourist zone and preparations for the Days of Culture of the Republic of India in Turkmenistan scheduled for July 9-11.
The Vice Premiers also reported on the preparations for the festivities on occasion of the 18th anniversary of the Saglyk Programme and the Day of Medical Workers as well as the Saglyk-2013 International Exhibition and Scientific Conference. It was noted that a parade of architectural premiers will be held in the Turkmen capital on occasion of the Day of Medical Workers of Turkmenistan.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, G. Ilyasov was released from the position of the Minister of Healthcare and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan due to the transfer to another job. N. Amannepesov was appointed to the position. The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution “On construction of a complex of buildings of the Scientific and Clinical Centre of Mother’s and Child’s Health Protection” designed for 670 places in Ashgabat.
The President of Turkmenistan noted that this year the Day of Healthcare and Medical Industry Workers which is celebrated in the country on July 21, coincided with Galla Bayramy. In this regard, given the achievements and labour victory of Turkmen grain growers, the Turkmen leader suggested to move the festivities on occasion of the Harvest Day to July 13 and signed the relevant Decree.
The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution “On construction of service departments at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries” and the Resolution on design and construction of a 2,890-metre highway leading to a five-star hotel under construction in the Turkmen capital.
The President of Turkmenistan instructed the relevant officials to draft the projects of new buildings of municipal and etrap khyakimliks and noted that a new etrap with all appropriate services, including a new modern building of Khyakimlik should be created in Avaza and gave the relevant instructions.
Other issues were considered and the decisions were adopted during the government meeting.
