President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov conducted a video conference with the Chairman of the Mejlis, cabinet members, khyakims of Ashgabat and regions and high-ranking officials of ministries and departments.
The meeting agenda focused on primary aspects in implementation of the comprehensive programmes of reforms launched in Turkmenistan to promote the socio-economic development of the country, the existing situation in the capital and regions and other priority state policy issues.
Vice Premier A.Gochyev reported on the measures taken to develop the national economy. Reporting on the fulfillment of the Turkmen leader’s instructions particularly to pay salaries, pensions, scholarships and welfare payments and settle the accounts with tenant farmers, the Vice Premier informed that all payments were being made in a timely manner.

Minister of Education G. Mammedov reported on the existing situation in the sector under her supervision and the measures taken to introduce modern methods and technologies in the education process and modernize the material and technical basis of educational institutions throughout the country.

Satlykov informed in particular on the completion of construction of a hospital in Bereket town.
Minister of Health and Medical Industry G. Elyasov reported on the existing situation in the sector under his supervision and the measures to modernize it further through using advanced technologies, promoting medical science and applying scientific advances in industry.
