A Turkmen delegation is participating in the events taking place these days in Ankara, the Republic of Turkey to mark the Year of Magtumguly Fraghi declared by the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY in 2014. The delegation of our country consists of cultural and art workers, scientists, writers, poets and media representatives.
The ceremony was organized at the headquarters of the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOY in Ankara in accordance with the programme of celebrations in honour of Magtymguly Fraghi. Participants of the celebrations visited the Turkmenistan Park, where they laid flowers to the monument to Magtymguly Fraghi.
The festivities took place at the Museum of Fine and Monumental Arts in Ankara, where experts in literature and scientists made presentations and artists from Turkmenistan presented the spectators a musical gift, including the songs based on the verses of the great poet and humanist, national Turkmen melodies and folk dances.
The State Turkish Music Ensemble of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey presented a colourful performance to the audience.
