The State concert dedicated to the State Flag Day was performed at the Maslahat Köşgi Palace of Congress in Ashgabat.
The heads and deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the cabinet of ministers, the heads and representatives of the public organizations, diplomatic missions and representations accredited in Turkmenistan, ministries and departments, the institutions of higher education, students and numerous guests to the Turkmen capital attended the concert.
The State Hymn of Turkmenistan was performed by the chorus of the Turkmen National Conservatoire.
The soloists and chorus of the Turkmen National Conservatoire festive concert with the high song about the love and faithfulness to the Motherland "Parlasyn Dünýäde Watan Baýdagy" that glorifies its beauty and power. The green Flag of Turkmenistan flied on the big screen, where the most remarkable events of the epoch of might and happiness of Turkmenistan were demonstrated.
The literary and musical composition "Arkadagly Watanda, Parla ýaşyl Baýdagym!" performed by the artists of theaters and folklore groups, including the creative groups from all five regions of the country was dedicated to the historical succession of the generations and the golden age of the Fatherland in the epoch of might and happiness.
The Serpaý famous folklore group continued the concert with their performance "Bu seniň arzuwlan döwrun, Pyragy" dedicated to great poet Magtymguly Fraghi, whose 290th birth anniversary will be celebrated this year in Turkmenistan and many foreign countries.
The concert programme included the performances of famous musicians and folklore artists, popular singers, dancing groups and children's artistic groups. One of the brightest performances of the concert was the ancient ritual dance Kushtdepdi performed by the folklore dancing groups representing all regions of our country.
The final chord was the song "Parla Baýdagym" performed by all singers and participants of the festive concert. The pathetic melody and inspired words of the song reflected the Turkmen people's high feelings of the pride and happiness for their independent neutral Fatherland in its golden age, the epoch that is indissolubly tied to the leader of the nation - President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
