In these days, the international baton of events on the occasion of the 290th anniversary of great Turkmen poet and philosopher Magtymguly Phragi is picked up by Seoul – the capital of Republic of Korea.
On April 4, it will be held the presentation of collection of poems of Magtymguly Phragi published in the Korean language.
Presentation will be continued with seminar on issues of study of creative heritage and translations of the works of outstanding classic of world poetry, comparative analysis of the Turkmen and Korean literatures. This seminar will be practical part of the scientific conference held the day before here in Seoul and devoted to the 290th anniversary of great Turkmen poet.
The representatives of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Korea and diplomatic corps accredited to this country, Association of Friendship between Republic of Korea and Central Asian countries, scientific intelligentsia took part in the work of conference.
Participants of the forum also familiarized with great interest with the exhibition, telling about successes of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan.
