Military and law enforcement officers graduate

Military students of the higher educational institutions of military and law enforcement agencies, including the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defence, the Institute for National Security, the Border Guard Institute and the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received graduate diplomas.

Following the tradition, the celebrations in honour of graduating students of these higher educational institutions are held in the square in front of the Monument to the Constitution of Turkmenistan.

To ensure the comprehensive theoretical and military training of highly qualified specialists for military and law enforcement agencies is an essential priority of the defensive Military Doctrine of independent neutral Turkmenistan. This integrated strategy identifies key areas of activity of military and law enforcement agencies based on the status of neutrality and the peaceful foreign policy of our country.

The higher educational institutions that train young specialists for the military sphere conduct large-scale political, educational and public activities among young military servants and law enforcement officers. Students of these higher educational institutions learn the basics of the national and international art of war, acquire the fighting skills, study sciences and, most importantly, are brought up in the spirit of patriotism and selfless love for the motherland and people.

The Navy Institute of the Ministry of Defence established in accordance with the Special Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the littoral town Turkmenbashi in 2010 makes its contribution to training highly qualified specialists. The newly established higher educational institution trains navy sailors with higher and secondary specialized education. The first graduate students of the Navy Institute received graduate diplomas last year.

Today, students of these higher educational institutions use state-of-the-art computer and multimedia equipment that gives access to Internet resources and e-libraries, which allow significantly improving and facilitating the learning process and encourage young people to acquire new knowledge.
