The second day of the 2014 Avaza Musical and Song Festival started with the exposition of works of Turkmen painters and museum exhibits arranged in the foyer of the Nebitchi Hotel. The exposition showcased by the Balkanabat Branch of the Union of Painters of Turkmenistan, Balkanabat Children’s Art School, Balkan Velayat Museum of Local History, and Balkanabat carpet Factory familiarizes visitors with the history and modern trends in development of the Turkmen fine and applied arts. The works dedicated to the history and nature of the Turkmen land, the art and culture, and, of course, the Avaza National tourist zone, occupy the significant section of the exposition.

A folk holiday took place in an improvised ancient Turkmen village on the Caspian coats in the afternoon. Folklore groups from Turkmenistan and foreign countries participated in the creative event.

Guests had an opportunity to see the real Turkmen yurtas, which our ancestors used, and enjoy the fascinating melodies played on ancient Turkmen instruments. The colorful folklore show represented the unique traditions of Turkmen holidays.

The final chord of the holiday was a big gala concert performed by all participants of the festival on the Caspian coast.
