International music, song and folkloric festival “Avaza-2014” organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and Balkan province municipality was opened in the National Tourist Zone “Avaza”.
Festival has united the representatives of music, song and folkloric art from different states of the world. Among them are the musicians, folk groups from Japan, China, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Best creative powers of the country represent Turkmenistan.
The day before, the foreign participants of International festival “Avaza-2014” arrived in the Caspian coast from the Turkmen capital, where they spent a day rich in cultural events. Here, they were welcomed with bread and salt.
Solemn start to the forum was given on the seacoast, on open stage turned into sailing vessel. The participants of current festival performed on “deck-stage”. Representatives of the country’s creative intelligentsia, social organizations and numerous guests took part in the opening ceremony.
Concert program was opened with bright composition “Turkmenistan – the land of friendship and brotherhood”, which united on the stage of symbolic “ship of friendship” the dance, music and song groups from different world countries. “Absheron” dance group from Azerbaijan, folk groups “Beineu Marzhandary” from Republic of Kazakhstan, “Jailan-tabary” from Islamic Republic of Iran, “Shugla-energo” from Kara-Kalpak of Republic of Uzbekistan, music-song and dance groups from Kyrgyzstan and folk group from Turkey have represented varied palette of folk and modern art.
Wonderful lyric variety songs sounded in performance of the soloists from Russia and Belarus. Singers from Afghanistan and China, musicians from Japan demonstrated the originality of musical traditions of their countries. Performance of folk group became real adornment of festive action. National singers and musicians, famous creative groups of our country shined on the stage. Festive concert was completed with patriotic song devoted to the nation leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
