Toylyev reported on the existing situation in the sectors under his supervision and the progress in implementing the state social policy and the national programmes aimed at promoting science education, health care, sport and tourism. The Vice Premier reported on the progress sin elaborating the procedure for developing the state education standards.
Approving the draft Resolution on the procedure for Developing and Approving the National education Standards and signing it, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on its important role in reforming the education system and improving teaching methods.
The Turkmen leader emphasized that the Government would take all necessary measures to develop education sector would develop so that youth could receive education meeting international standards, carry out research activities and broaden their outlook. In this context the Turkmen instructed to keep rigorous control over the execution of this document and elucidate the significance and objectives of the Resolution in the mass media.
Focusing on the importance of the assigned tasks which once fulfilled would significantly promote socio-economic development of the country and the welfare of the people, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the meeting participants to conduct an in-depth analysis of the work of the sectors and evaluate the preliminary results achieved in the first month of 2012.
The other state policy issues were considered, and the decisions were adopted during the meeting.
Upon concluding the meeting, the President wished the meeting participants good health and every success in their activities for the benefit of the beloved Motherland.
