The international beauty contest of Ahalteke horses will be held in Ashgabat on April 24. This day will be also marked by the art contests among artists, sculptors, carpet makers, jewellers, photographers, printing specialists, designers and TV cameramen for the artistic embodiment of the beauty of the ‘heavenly’ horses in the works of fine, applied and decorative arts, printed materials, photographs and TV programmes.

The art contests will be held to mark Turkmen Horse Day celebrated each year on the last Sunday of April as well as to enhance worldwide fame of the ‘heavenly’ horses that are the national property and the pride of the Turkmen people.

In accordance with the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, the composition of the jury of the aforesaid contests is approved.
