An exposition of the works created by a prominent artist Charymurad Saryev is opened in the Exhibition Hall of the Artists’ Union of Turkmenistan to mark the master’s 65th jubilee.

The master’s wall paintings are presented in the exposition. The monumental painting “The Family” is permeated with happiness and joy, and the painting “The World” is imbued with the thrill of emerging love. It is some kind of hymn to youth, eternal love and life on the Earth. Spring, youth and beauty are integrated in the composition, where delicate petals of young plants and the slender silhouettes of young people as if turn towards the light and sun, love and happiness. This work was recognized as one of the best works at the monumental painting exhibition in Moscow.

The bright mosaic pictures have the special place in the master’s creative activity. Mosaic has become his vocation and lifework. Charymurad Saryev’s pictures adorn the buildings in Ashgabat and the museums in Dashoguz and Mary. His works can be seen in the other towns throughout our country. These are the mosaic waterscapes in Balkanabat and the picture “Revival” that is permeated with the sunlight and arouses the feeling of freedom and novelty in Abadan. What they have in common is adherence to national traditions, joyful perception of the world and major colours that make mosaic pictures sing. There is something magic in the master’s works dedicated to nature. The birds he depicts flying over the sea, in sun glare are like the envoys of happiness that bring the good news.

The mosaic picture “Festival” fills with the joy and youthful ardour. The painter amazingly accurately conveys the atmosphere of holiday, beauty of folk dances, joy and swiftness of movements of dancing dzhigits.

Monumental painting highly demanded by the time itself has received a powerful impetus to develop and has gone into the streets of our cities. The strong melody of Charymurad Saryev’s mosaics is always recognizable in this colourful polyphony.
