In the conference hall of this wonderful Palace of Congress with the best wishes of good health and successes, happiness and well-being I address the respected elders, youth responsible for building a happy future, the members of the State Security Council and the Cabinet of Ministers, deputies of the national Parliament, journalists, representatives of public organisations and diplomats!
First of all, I want to heartily thank all those who accepted our invitation and are attending the inaugural ceremony marking my accession to the presidency.
Today is a very solemn but at the same time a very important day when a new term of presidential government is beginning in the history of independent neutral Turkmenistan
I would like to thank the talented and courageous people of our sovereign Motherland from the bottom of my heart. My beloved people, having elected me to the second term in office, gave me their trust.
Taking an opportunity I express sincere gratitude to the presidential candidates! They made great effort to win in this year’s election and went through with dignity all the stages of the election campaign and proved that they were worthy to lead the country.
This campaign gave them more strength and valuable experience. I believe that the knowledge and skills they had gained from participation in the pre-election activities will be of use to them in their future activities.

Today our sovereign Motherland has entered a new stage of development. We have defined it as the stage of the further consistent promotion of large-scale reforms and stable growth in our country.
Using the tremendous creative potential of the beloved people, cherishing the natural wealth of Turkmen land granted by Almighty, relying on the unity and solidarity that guarantee civil accord in the society and steady development of the country taking the accomplished tasks and outstanding achievements as the basis, we have set the new, higher goals to ourselves.
In my keynote speech as a presidential candidate on January 9, 2012 I set forth my views on the important tasks we are to fulfil on the path of further development of our country and clearly identify the innovative development priorities applying scientific advances.
Also, these important tasks are reflected in the National Programme for improvement of the social and living conditions in villages, settlements, towns in etraps and etrap centres for the period till 2020 and the National Programme of Social and Economic Development of Turkmenistan for 2011-2030.
I believe that with the support and enthusiasm of the beloved people, working hard and inspiringly we will fulfil the tasks assigned!
Achieving these high goals will enable us to significantly improve the standards of living of every citizen of the country and guarantee a happy and prosperous life to the people.
I want to thank once again all the voters who have come to polling stations and cast their votes for me!
I highly value your trust. To justify it I assure you that I will spare no effort, knowledge, experience and abilities to achieve the goals and return selfless labour implementing my initiatives for the peaceful, stable and prosperous life of our beloved Motherland and beloved people!
The wisdom of our renowned ancestors is that who is moving forward he will make his way. I said these words five years ago. And today I want to repeat this time-tested wisdom.
I believe in my beloved people, their wonderful constructive energy and unlimited potential, their happy and bright future!
Therefore, I firmly believe that moving forward together with the beloved people, in unity, hand in hand, with confidence, we will achieve our high goals!
