President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated women of Turkmenistan on the International Women’s Day. In his Congratulatory Address on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, the Turkmen leader notes that in all times Turkmens have treated women with love and special respect associating them with the beauty and considering the wonderful half of humanity as a fundamental principle of life.
Within millennia, Turkmen women have become famous all around the world due to their high spiritual and moral qualities, including love for the Motherland, dignity, delicacy, honesty, diligence, tenacity, fortitude as well as custodians of the family wellbeing and warmth of the family hearth and unsurpassed masters of artistic fancywork. Such Turkmen women as czarina Tumar, Zarina, Banu Chichek, Burla hatyn, Agayunus, Harmandyali, Gulayym, Turkan hatyn, Myahri hatyn, Gulbeden begim and Jahan hatyn, who embodied the most wonderful features of the national character, who upheld their honour and dignity and made significant contribution to enriching the Turkmen culture, left the indelible trace in the great past of the Turkmen people.
According to the President of Turkmenistan, today, the Government creates all necessary conditions for happy life and creative labour of Turkmen women, for studying and mastering various professions as well as brining children in line with modern requirements. Women play an important role in the political, economic, social and cultural life of the Turkmen society. They work with inspiration at the ministries and departments of our country, in the spheres of healthcare, education, science and culture as well as various branches of the national economy.
Cordially congratulating all women of Turkmenistan on the International Women’s Day, the Turkmen leader wished: “Let your dearest wishes come true, let the eyes of our esteemed mothers, sisters, daughters, our beloved women, who adorn the nation and whom we are proud of for their high virtue, dignity, modesty and generosity, shine with joy!”
