The two-day joint cultural action organized by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of Japan in our country invites all those wishing to learn more about the world of the ancient and original culture of the Japanese people to the President Hotel in Ashgabat.
Mrs. Yamada arrived in Ashgabat to demonstrate the old Japanese technique of drawing with ink and cooking the dishes of the traditional Japanese cuisine
Among those taken part in the ceremony of opening of the cultural action held with the aim to foster humanitarian relations between the two friendly countries and dedicated to the 20th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Japan, were the representatives of diplomatic corps, international organizations, public organizations, workers of culture and art, journalists and numerous admirers of the Japanese culture – people of Ashgabat and guests to the Turkmen capital.
Within two days the visitors will have an opportunity to take part in master classes held by Mrs. Yamada. The first evening of the action was dedicated to painting on silk and paper.
