The agenda of the sitting of the Union of Painters of Turkmenistan taken place at the Art Exhibition Department of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan focused on the results of work of this public organization and the new work plan.

The forum participants expressed deep gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for his regular concern on creation of all necessary conditions for comprehensive development of the sphere of culture, including the national fine, decorative and applied art. In this regard, the members of the Union suggested to brisk up the work of the Union of Painters of Turkmenistan.

The other organizational issues, including the new membership of the Union as well as the plans of further work were discussed during the meeting. The members of the Union elected S. Meredov Chairman of this public organization.
