President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited a frontier post of the State Border Guard Service of Turkmenistan to see the progress of works on construction of a new frontier town, where the Turkmen leader chaired a meeting of the State Sectary Council.
The President's plane landed on the territory of the frontier unit, where the Turkmen leader got acquainted with the progress of works on construction of new specialized buildings aimed at creating the most favorable conditions for service and life of military personnel.

Garaev, Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan I. Mulikov, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Turkmenistan A. Hallyev, Chairman of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan A. Hojamgulyev, Chairman of the State Migration Service of Turkmenistan D. Bayramov reported on the work done in the sectors under their supervision.
Addressing the meeting participants, the Turkmen leader focused on the need to fulfil the tasks and take an integrated approach to promoting the legal and military reforms aimed at optimizing the activity of law enforcement agencies. The President of Turkmenistan underlined that the ultimate goal was to rigorously supervise the implementation of the measures for strengthening discipline within military and law enforcement subdivisions. In this context particular attention should be paid to professional training of military personnel and law enforcement officials, bringing the younger generation to love and serve the Motherland selflessly, said the President.
The other issues were considered during the State Security Council meeting, and the relevant decisions were adopted. On concluding the meeting, the President wished the participants every success in their important activity to safeguard the peaceful, prosperous and happy life of our people. After finishing the meeting, the Turkmen leader headed to the helicopter. During the flight the President could see numerous construction sites and evaluate the pace of contraction work launched in the Turkmen capital within the framework of the large-scale urban planning programme.
