At the National Music and Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly hosted a concert of symphonic music, which was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Germany and Turkmenistan, with a full house.
The concert was held on the initiative of the German Embassy in Turkmenistan with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the theater management.
The audience's immersion in the classics began with Ludwig van Beethoven's «Triple Concerto» for piano, violin, cello and orchestra. In the history of musical culture, this work was included in the performance of famous musicians David Oistrakh, Mstislav Rostropovich, Svyatoslav Richter and conductor Karayan.
In Ashgabat, all three parts of Beethoven's «Triple Concerto» were performed for the first time and also by great masters of their craft - Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov (piano), Bahram Dolyev (violin), Kakageldi Hojalekov (cello), conductor Rasul Gylyjov and musicians of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan soloists a complete idyll of musical harmony was achieved.
In the second part, the listeners were presented with the works of Richard Wagner, Carl Maria von Weber, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The concert ended with the incendiary «Hungarian Dance» № 1 and 5 by Johannes Brahms. It is noteworthy that Brahms left a collection of dance melodies, consisting of 21 dances. In dances № 1 and 5, he mistakenly used the music of Bela Koehler, mistaking it for folk music. But Bela Koehler only benefited from such a mistake. Since then, his name has been remembered every time this work is performed.
Saying goodbye to the audience, Rasul Gylyjov noted that he was waiting for everyone on December 3 at the Mukams Palace at a concert of Georgian music.
