This season was rich in various creative events for the staff of the Dashoguz State Music and Drama Theater named after Nurmuhammet Andalyp. This includes work on new premieres and active participation in the Turkmen-Uzbek friendship festival held in the north of the country in autumn, in various festive celebrations in the region.
Only this year, local viewers saw several new theatrical performances on a variety of topics, including patriotism, feelings of deep love, devotion to serving their homeland, their people, such as the work of director Bekmurad Hallyev based on the script of playwright Oremurat Ovezov "Ygrar ataşy", the dramatic outline of which was a legend from the book of the Hero-Arkadag "Turkmenistan - the heart of the Great Silk Road". It should be noted that the theater team often turns to works that reflect original national customs and traditions and their continuity.
Thus, the ancient Turkmen epic “Görogly” repeatedly inspired local directors, playwrights and actors to create new creative works. Recall that at the State Music and Drama Theater named after Nurmuhammet Andalyp, several colorful musical works were staged based on his motives, including the performances of “Gorogly” and “Goly sazly, tili sozli Görogly”. The pearl of the national heritage and this year formed the basis of one of the premieres of the performance "Bezirgen" directed by Guvanch Baimetov.
The Dashoguz theater group lives an active creative life. Performances different in genre and artistic solution contribute to the consistent expansion of the audience, including the age category. So, this year one of the theater's new works was created based on fairy-tale motives and is intended for the youngest admirers of theatrical art. The theater successfully tries various forms of work with the audience, such as the participation of artists in various mass festive events, including New Year's ones. And these days, its actors are preparing to please children and adults with their art of stage performance at the main New Year tree of the region. In the near future, the theater group will present the premiere of another performance to Dashoguz residents.
