The premiere screenings of the play “Bagjykly we bagjyksyz” (“With laces and without laces”) were held with great success at the Turkmen State Puppet Theater.
The new work, based on the play by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Magtymguly Hudayberdiev, introduces young viewers to the story of a naughty boy named Begmyrat. The boy treats his things very badly, scattering them all over the house, offending animals and constantly misbehaving. One day, pets - a cat and a dog - decide to escape from the offender. With tears, boots torn by Begmyrat leave him.
But any fairy tale ceases to be a fairy tale if there is no place for miracles and magic in it.
On the instructions of higher forces, a Robot is sent to the Earth, designed to correct the situation. Will a high-tech automatic device, which operates according to a predetermined program, be able to reconcile Begmyrat with his friends and teach the boy good manners? In the continuation of an instructive and kind story, we will talk about it.
The director of the work, Maksat Altayev, notes that the first spectators received the performance very warmly, feeling sympathy with the heroes.
“For the most part, young talented actors are involved in the performance,” says director Maksat Altayev. “Young people in our theater learn how to handle different types of puppets, so that later on the stage they can skillfully convey the emotions and plasticity of their characters. The guys are working on themselves. For example, especially for the role of the Robot, the aspiring actor Bagtyyar Dollyev learned to move and dance like a robot.
Experienced masters of arts perform on the same platform with young people. Among them, the author of the play is the puppet theater artist Magtymguly Hudayberdiyev. The actor have several dramatizations based on the books of the Hero-Arkadag and his own literary works.
The new performance turned out to be funny and very modern. Especially it will be interesting to children who are fond of robotics and computer technology.
