On the stage of the Turkmen National Music and Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly hosted a concert by the Italian composer and guitarist Antonio Onorato, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Italy, with a full house.

Introducing Antonio Onorato to the Ashgabat public and guests of the capital, Luigi Ferrari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Turkmenistan, noted that he had long dreamed of introducing this guitarist to Turkmen friends, because he is one of the best guitarists in Italy.

Antonio Onorato considers himself a Neapolitan composer, combining Neapolitan music with African American, Middle Eastern and Brazilian music in his work. On this basis, a personal musical language was obtained.

The Italian composer has released about 30 albums. Recently, a book about his work was published: «Antonio Onorato ... jazz and not only».

His first composition, which he presented to the audience in the hall, includes works by Mozart, Harlen and his own. And it is called the Neapolitan word, meaning: «Very, very much». And the audience in the hall made a virtual journey through cultures and time preferences in the art of music.

During the concert, the Italian guitarist and composer not only introduced the audience to improvisational works, but also provided an opportunity to get acquainted with the sound of several guitars. One of them is unique - respiratory, he borrowed it from Indian musicians. On it, Antonio performed two works by his friend R. Daniel - «My City» and «When».

Then Onorato introduced music lovers to his new works from the latest album. The concert ended with the participation of the famous jazz singer Maysa Nyyazova. Accompanied by an Italian guitarist Maysa performed the incendiary song «Volare» by Domenico Modugno. The performance of the Turkmen vocalist brought a bright, pretty note to Antonio Onorato's concert.
