In the Small Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva hosted a dedication concert to Medeniyet Shahberdiyeva, People's Artist of the USSR and Turkmenistan, holder of four orders: the Red Banner of Labour; Friendship between nations; «Badge of honour»; «Altyn Asyr» III century, performer of 13 parts from Turkmen and European operas.
The concert was led by a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Opera Dunyagozel Begaliyeva, the owner of a coloratura soprano, like Medeniyet Shahberdiyeva.
The famous work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart «Hallelujah» from the repertoire of Medeniyet Shahberdiyeva opened the concert program. Praise of God, which means the word «Hallelujah», the organizers of the concert did not take by chance.
During the concert, the accompanist teacher of the Department of Special Piano Aylar Saparmyradova performed the author's work «Nocturne», addressed to the memory of Medeniyet Shahberdiyeva, as well as the work of Nury Halmamedov «To You». The friendship between Medeniyet Shahberdiyeva and Nury Halmamedov, as well as Atageldi Garyagdyyev, is evidenced by the photographs taken from the archive, which were broadcast on the screen. Professor of the Conservatory, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atageldi Garyagdyyev shared his memories of the great singer.
The concert ended with the song «Ashgabat» by Nury Halmamedov performed by Dunyagozel Begaliyeva. By the way, the first performer of this song was Medeniyet Shahberdiyeva.
By the way, Dunyagozel not only has a voice similar to Medeniyet Shahberdiyeva. She was also born in the Lebap velayat, but not in the city, but in the Dostluk etrap. In the piano class, she graduated from a music school and studied at a college when her vocal teacher Zhanna Sayan heard her voice at one of the competitions. It was she who identified the coloratura soprano in Dunyagozel, as in Medeniyet Shahberdiyeva. Today, teachers from the conservatory work with Dunyagozel's voice. Of course, it would be great if we had a second Shahberdiyeva! Perhaps it will.
