A gala concert of Turkmen pop artists was held at the Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan with great success. World hits from different countries, youth songs of grandparents included in the film music concert program aroused genuine interest among children and adult listeners.

The concert was attended by musicians of the «Ovaz» orchestra (artistic director - People's Artist of Turkmenistan Nurygandym Hojamuhammedov) and singers of the State Choir of Turkmenistan (artistic director - Haydar Eminov).

Charming hosts Shemshat Kasymova and Ashyr Goshayev cheered up the audience and supported the artists.

People's Artists of Turkmenistan Myrat Bayramgeldiyev and Gulnar Nuryyeva were the first to perform on the stage with their crown number «Telli Velli» from the movie «Arshin Mal Alan». A funny dialogue about money, as well as the artistic performance of the vocalists, brought smiles to the faces of all the spectators without exception.

The People's Artist of Turkmenistan Atageldi Garyagdyyev performed amazingly songs from the repertoire of Muslim Magamayev. The songs «Melody» and «Blue Eternity» in his performance caused a flurry of applause in the hall.

With the help of the charismatic singer, Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan Ahmet Atajanov, the audience in the hall made a trip to far and near India with its incendiary songs and dances.

The concert program included performances by Kakajan Haldurdyyev, Sohbet Kasymov, Ovezberdi Ovezberdiyev, Leyli Mammedova, Mahri Pirgulyyeva. And each of the singers caused a pleasant reaction in the audience. But the audience especially liked the performance of David Kevorkov, who sang two songs from Magomayev's repertoire in a wonderful baritone voice: «The Queen of Beauty» and «Thank You».

And the concert ended with the optimistic song «On a Big Balloon» performed by the Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan Selbi Annadurdyyeva and the children who left the hall as backup dancers.

In the spring evening, the artists gave the audience great joy from contact with the unfading repertoire of songs.
