In the cycle «Rachmaninoff’s Spring» a remarkable event took place - a student of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva Shaislam Komiljanov gave a solo concert.

Last year, a freshman from the faculty of special piano Shaislam Komiljanov became the winner of two conservatory competitions at once: the department of special piano and the department of chamber ensemble. Of the five pieces he performed during the competition rounds, two were pieces by Rachmaninoff.

- I am a fan of Rachmaninov, - Shaislam said in an interview before the concert. - I first heard his music when I was a student at the Dashoguz Musical College, and Rachmaninoff's style of impetuous infinity delighted me. Perhaps over time my preferences will change, but so far, he is my number one composer.

Shaislam Komiljanov was born in Gurbansoltan etrap. At the age of 9, the parents sent the boy to the Children's Music School so that he would not waste time. An interesting fact: the boy did not resist studying music, but he did not show much zeal either. However, after graduating from the music school at the music college, he acted of his own free will. And when he graduated, he realized that he could no longer live without music and entered the conservatory.

And now Shaislam Komiljanov - on the stage of the Grand Concert Hall, behind one of the pianos, behind another piano - is his teacher, Honoured Artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov. The Second Concerto of Sergei Rachmaninoff is being performed - stormy, saturated with vivid emotions music poured out from under the fingers of the student and teacher.

The audience in the hall, among whom were Shaislam's classmates, received the performance of two pianists with friendly applause.

-Rachmaninoff wrote the Second Piano Concerto, - comments Vladimir Mkrtumov. - Accompanying Shaislama on the second piano, in this way I replaced the orchestra. And one more thing: I think that for a conservatory of our level, solo concerts by students should become the norm. By the way, on the same course, along with Shaislam, there are other talented students who could also please the audience with solo concerts. True, Shaislam is distinguished by high efficiency and curiosity, which is very important for a pianist.

The concert program also included Rachmaninoff's Second Sonata and two etude-paintings. The concert was held at a high level. Teachers, students and lovers of Rachmaninoff's music congratulated Shaislam for his excellent performance and the pleasure he brought to the audience.
