Within the framework of the International Festival of Fine and Applied Arts, which takes place in Uzbekistan from the 17^th to 21^st of April, an exhibition entitled «Meeting of Artists of the Turkic World», dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), was organized. It presents more than 100 paintings, the authors of which are artists from the participating countries of TURKSOY - Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Artists from these countries brought to Tashkent from three to five works, which are exhibited at the exhibition «Meeting of Artists of the Turkic World» until 20^th of April. Like other events of TURKSOY, it serves the spiritual rapprochement and strengthening of the fraternal unity of the Turkic peoples, the presentation of Turkic culture in the world and the transmission of its traditions to future generations.

Artists from Turkmenistan presented various artistic trends in their works. Toyly Chopanov, a teacher at the Turkmen State Specialized Art School, demonstrates mastery of oil painting techniques. Gahryman Gochmyradov is interesting because he is looking for plots in the present. One of his paintings «The Man and the Gardener» is dedicated to the current topic of the role and place of gadgets in people's lives.
