At the National Music and Drama Theatre named after Magtymguly hosted a reporting concert of students of the Turkmen State Musical College named after Danatar Ovezov at the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva. For students, the reporting concert is the main event of the educational process, revealing the successes achieved during the year. The appearance on the professional stage of one of the best theatres in the country suggests that the students and teachers of this creative educational institution have something to be proud of.
The patriotic composition «Arkadag Serdarly Bagtyýar ýaşlar» opened the concert program. The voices of the members of the choir group sounded harmoniously and solemnly in the composition, accompanied by the musicians of the orchestra.
The concert program included works by Turkmen classical composers Danatar Hydyrov, Danatar Ovezov, Aman Agajykov, Nury Halmammedov, as well as luminaries of Western European classics - Georges Bizet, Ludwig van Beethoven, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Carl Maria Weber. Students Lale Arazdurdyyeva and Vepa Allashev performed a fragment from Mozart's opera «Don Giovanni», surprising the audience with their well-trained voices.
Student Aman Akmyradov, playing Aram Khachaturian's «Toccata» on the piano, was surrounded by floating spotlights, which complemented the pianist's impeccable playing with the beauty of visual perception.
The musicians of folk instruments performed well. The dutar ensemble led by Gurbangeldi Gurbanberdiyev performed the Turkmen folk song «Nowgül», and the musicians of the ensemble of tuydukists led by the Honoured Art Worker of Turkmenistan Ashirmurat Yazmuradov performed the Turkmen folk melody «Gyratym». The musicians of the percussion orchestra won the sympathy of the public. During their speech, the audience applauded several times.
The concert ended with a powerful sounding work by Rejep Rejepov «Turkmenistan». The choir, symphony orchestra and vocalists Dovletgeldi Shadykulov and Vepa Allashev took part in its performance. The beautiful voices, the coherence of the choir and orchestra, as well as the incomparable music of Rejep Rejepov delighted the audience in the hall, who did not want to let the musicians off the stage with prolonged applause..
