In the capital's Exhibition Centre, an exhibition of works by the Annagulyyev family of artists was launched, which occupied the entire second floor of the centre. The reason for the public display of his work was very good: this year marks the 55th anniversary of the birth of the head of the family, ceramist Bayram Annagulyyev, and 50 years of his wife, ceramist Bahar Annagulyyeva.

Their daughters Ayna and Jennet also did not miss the opportunity to show their works: Ayna is a sophomore of the department of decorative and applied arts of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, Jennet is a student of school 46, a graduate of the Children's Art School named after. Bashim Nuraly.

The exhibition aroused great interest among ceramists, students of the Academy of Arts, art critics, lovers of arts and crafts, and numerous friends of the Annagulyyev family. Among the visitors is the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Maral Atayeva, who described the heroes of the day as follows:

- Bayram and Maral are my students, and as a teacher I am very proud that they have reached such heights in their work.

Bayram and Maral, although they work together, have different directions in ceramics. Bayram Annagulyyev's well-known work «The Feast of the Caravaneers» takes us back to the time of the Great Silk Road, and his exposition «Dinosaurs» - to the Mesozoic era. But no matter how good these works are, the main thing in Bayram's work is jugs. The artist treats it as a cult object that contributes to quenching thirst and continuing the life of mankind. What kind of jugs did Bayram not present at the exhibition - these are cone-shaped, and with legs, and with two necks. Hundreds of vessels, and none is alike.

Maral is gifted by nature not only with talent, but also with a subtle sense of humour. Her ceramic works involuntarily cause a smile. For example, «Japbaks under a blanket», «Turkmen girls», «Apple tree» and others. Like her husband, she makes many ceramic figurines in the installation, resulting in a funny story, as, for example, in Rural Fashionistas.

An interesting painting exposition was presented by Jennet Annagulyyeva. Small-sized paintings tell stories from the life of the village and the city. The audience especially liked the roosters painted in gouache.

Ayna Annagulyyeva presented a collection of jewellery - in her work she combines the classics of Turkmen jewellery with modern trends in jewellery art. Ayna tries to give the jewellery a refined form, less light, but does not deprive her of her national look.

With the variety and high quality of the exhibits, the Annagulyyev family of artists once again made an excellent impression on the audience.
