There were no empty seats in the Great Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kuliyeva that evening. The host of the concert program Maya Gulayeva emphasized that it was understandable, because the memory of the great feat of the people will not be interrupted as long as the songs of the war years will be played.

On the front row were the guests of honor of this evening - veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the home front, as well as the siege survivor of Leningrad: Sergey Agamyan, Elena Aganesyan, Lyudmila Litunovskaya, Shamone Karakozova, Zhanna Pogosova. Next to them were soldiers-internationalists.

There were performed popular songs such as "Cranes" by Yan Frenkel, "In the dugout" by Konstantin Listov, " The brass band plays in the city garden" by Matvey Blanter, "Accidental waltz" by Mark Fradkin, "Song about a distant Homeland" by Mikael Tariverdiev, "In the front-line forest" by Matvey Blanter, "Blue Handkerchief" by Jerzy Petersburski, "Armanym" by Rejep Rejepov and others. When Blanter's "Katyusha" was performed, the audience chanted to the beat of the music, and some of them sang along with the vocalists.

During the concert, a monitor on the stage broadcasted posters of the war years, photos of front-line soldiers, portraits of authors of military songs and texts of their poems.

In addition to the songs that were excitingly performed by the masters of the stage, several pieces of music were performed, one of them was a melody from the movie "Schindler's List". After the release of the movie "Schindler's List", this stingy, but very touching melody became one of the most frequently performed works of denouncing wars.

The concert ended with the song-anthem "Victory Day" by David Tukhmanov. This song was received with a standing ovation. The song united all the listeners with pride for the victory of our fathers and grandfathers, made us stronger and more generous.

The concert was performed by People's Artist of Turkmenistan Gulnar Nuriyeva, Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Leyli Okdirova, Maya Gullayeva, laureates of the State Prize "Turkmenistanyň Altyn Asyry"Amangeldy Amanov, Begench Moshiyev, Bahar Durdiyeva and others. Concertmaster was Stella Faramazova, winner of international competitions. The concert was organized by the department of chamber ensemble.
