The "Turkmenistan" Cinema and Concert Center hosted Selim Gurbansakhetov's solo concert. Selim named it "For the Soul" and explained to the audience the meaning of this title: he sings for the soul and hopes that the audience will take his singing with all its soul.

This is Selim's second solo concert this year, and his pleasant velvet baritone voice is well known to listeners. In addition, he has the ability to present pop works stylistically accurate.

The repertoire of songs was very different at the first and second concerts. Remarkably, the premiere of his author's song "Closed" was presented at the first concert and the premiere of the author's song "Autumn" was performed at the second one.

Selim graduated from the music school №3 in the guitar class. He additionally studied vocals with the teacher Reva Grigoryants. Now, Selim is a third-year student at the International University for Humanities and Development.

Selim first appeared on stage as a 10-year-old boy at Rovshen Nepesov’s concert in 2012 and performed a song from the movie "The Adventures of the Electronic" with great success. From that moment, he had felt and loved the stage.

5 years later, as a schoolboy, he opened a musical group "Red Band" with friends. Friends have not parted until now – they are Aimammed Huseykhanov (saxophone), Kakajan Nazarov (drums), Arslan Yagshinazarov (keys), who perform together with Selim.

It is noteworthy that Rovshen Nepesov was the concert host and pianist. He performed his work "Elegy" for the audience. The composer told the plot of this work to the audience, and it began to play with bright emotional colors.

The audience warmly received the concert "For the Soul", singing along to the familiar lyrics of favorite songs and supporting the performances of Selim Gurbansakhetov and musicians with hearty applause.
