Cultural figures from Dashoguz velayat will take an active part in the upcoming International Dance and Folklore Festival in the "Avaza" National Tourist Zone. A representative delegation from the northern region of the country will travel to Balkan velayat. This delegation includes famous bakhshis, singers and dancers representing various, including folklore groups of the velayat. They have prepared a variety of incendiary concert numbers, among which are song, dance, music and choreographic performances vividly reflecting the original cultural traditions of our people. Also, local artists are able to demonstrate the felt-making art, widespread in the region and related to the ancient type of folk crafts of the Turkmen national decorative and applied arts and can offer participants and viewers of the forum their vision of the performance of a lullaby.

Among the most developed and brightest directions of its cultural activity is the art of bakhshi, including bakhshi-destanists, who are skilled musicians and singers who skillfully reveal the national spiritual and cultural values and traditions that have been formed over the centuries.
