Today, a scientific and practical conference "Traditions of Folk Art and Folk Dance" was held within the framework of the International Dance and Folklore Festival "Avaza-2023", in the conference hall of the health-improving center "Daýanç", in the National Tourist Zone "Avaza". This conference was attended by guests of the festival and representatives of the Turkmen side.

The conference was preceded by an exhibition in the center's lobby. There were presented books and works of applied art, illustrating the beautiful Turkmen nature. Having acquainted themselves with the exhibits, the conference participants noted the high organizational level of each event held as part of the festival.

During the conference, it was noted that the international festival, organized on the initiative of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, is of great importance in the development of national culture and promotes mutual understanding and spiritual rapprochement of peoples. The participants also expressed gratitude to the Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Serdar for the created conditions and hospitality provided on the Turkmen land.

Then the festival continued with a concert of foreign dance and folklore groups, which took place on the coast of the Caspian Sea in the amphitheater of the park ensemble of interactive fountains.
