This year, Ashgabat will host Days of Culture of the country's regions from June 22 to 27. These events with the participation of figures of culture and art have already become a tradition and, as a rule, are held alternately years in each velayat.
During the week, creative teams, artists, writers and poets, and other representatives of the creative intelligentsia will share experiences with their colleagues from other regions, which will undoubtedly serve the further harmonious development of culture and art in general.
The creative collectives of Lebap velayat are also preparing for the upcoming events in the capital of Turkmenistan with a special positive attitude. More than 50 cultural and art figures of Lebap velayat will represent their region in Ashgabat.
The staff of the Velayat Museum of Local History, for example, will organize a large-scale exhibition reflecting the peculiarities and history of the region. And the leading artists and soloists of the velayat intend to present their new performances and songs at a general concert.
It is also significant that the current cultural events in Ashgabat will be held on the eve of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy, the classic of Turkmen literature.
